Compared to the previous Yamaoka releases “Rhythm of the Rain” offers a more mixed bag of Ambient Up & Down tempo compositions. Yet all tracks share Kenichi’s unique sound of tweaky loop based sequences and minimal techno rhythm’s, grabbing the listeners attention from the first till the eleventh movement. “Yamaoka’s music always make me happy” (Bob Rusche/X-rated).
